Bacon Wrapped Oyster
1 pound package of bacon
1 dozen oysters- shucked
1 8oz can water chestnut (drained, rinsed and sliced)
1 bottle of pickapeppa sauce
Wrap bacon and chestnut around oyster. Secure with toothpick. Place on cookie sheet-Broil until bacon is cooked.
Oyster on the half shell with Pepper Mignonette
3 dozen oyster in shells
2 cups red wine vinegar
2 tablespoon –each red &green bell pepper and red onion
1 ½ teaspoon each-black pepper, red pepper, sugar
Clean. Scrub and shuck oyster. Arrange on a plate. In a bowl mix other ingredients and spoon over oyster.
