Potato Soup – Tuesday recipe




3-4 red potatoes

2 c water

1 onion

3 tbls butter

3 tbls flour

3 c milk

½ tsp sugar

1 c cheddar cheese (shredded)

1 c cubed ham

Peel potatoes and cut into cubes. Bring water to boil-cook potatoes to tender –Drain potatoes and set aside-1 cup of cooking liquid. . Melt butter, cook onions until tender, and add flour and seasoning, Cook a few minutes. Add potatoes, cup of cooking liquid, milk and sugar stir well Add cheese and ham .Cook 30 minutes on low.
