My Container Garden
Good Morning ! Everyone at Lisa’s Everyday Life
Today’s Garden Post is a look at my Garden. Since moving back to Louisiana I have been trying to garden in a few diffrent spots in our yard. Looking for a nice sunny spot that I could grow a few vegetables -to enjoy with my family. By no reason I Am a great gardener but I like to try. We only have a small grocery store here and vegtables are limited.
We tried the back yard but hat didn’t work out – So this year I decided on the front lawn. My only concern was the place and lawn care. With that in mind I decided Containers were a way to go. Now I could buy something but why not use something I already owned. Save money for more plants.
My New garden is in rubbermaid containers -that we had sitting in the closets . Drilled a few holes and filled with container soil and ready to Go. They are sitting on bricks to drawn and can be moved for ease of mowing. Lisa
They are doing great and hope for a bumper crop.
What I planted-
Roma tomato. Small eggplant. Squash, zucchinis and cucumbers.
My seeds – are hot peppers, lettuce, carrots and baby bok choy .
I also have a herb garden that I keep going all year long.
Another Happy place – My local garden center !
