Review- Picante Restaurant

Picante Restaurant and Cantina

Lafayette, Louisiana

Picante Restaurant facebook page

We visited this restaurant on Tuesday for lunch with my parents on the way to Lafayette. It’s on the side road – of I-49  so its a convenient location for a quick lunch.

We were greeted with salsa and chip and drinks order was  taken. – My husband and I decided to share  the Combo of the Chicken/ beef fajitas off the lunch menu.

They came out fairly fast – The chicken was salty and the meat was tough. And not seasoned well. The sides were served on a hot plate but the rice and beans were cold,

The best part of the meal was the salsa that was smokey and spicey.

Will I go back – No. Will I recommend it – No.
