A 5-day extravaganza paying tribute to two, time-honored industries, features great food, continuous free live music, arts & crafts, children’s activities, and traditional events, such as the blessing of the fleet and boat parade.
Sugar Cane Festival – New Iberia, LA – Sep 20 to Sep 24, 2017
Annual event for 70+ years hosted by the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival Association.
New Orleans Horror Film Festival – New Orleans, LA – Sep 21 to Sep 24, 2017
The NOHFF is held in the French Quarter at the Inn on Bourbon Hotel.
Alligator Festival – St. Charles Parish (Luling), LA – Sep 22 to Sep 24, 2017
Music, food, arts & crafts, golf tournament, 5K race and 1/2 mile kids run. Held at West Bank Bridge Park, it is a fundraiser for The Rotary Club of St. Charles Parish.
Louisiana Hot Air Balloon Championship Festival – Gonzales, LA – Sep 22 to Sep 23, 2017
A combination of hot air balloons, music, food and entertainment at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center. Admission is $2 for adults, free for kids 12 and under.
