  Happy New Year Eve!!

We had a busy night last night. We celebrated a beautiful family wedding with family & friends. It was held at St. Landry Catholic Church in Opealousas.  The current church building, in Romanesque Revival style, was completed in 1909. This Catholic church was decorated for the  holiday season and perfect for an evening wedding.  A wonderful way yo celebrate a New Year & New Marriage.

Today : We are cooking food for tomorrow & if the weather clears Fireworks time for tonight.  To bring in the New Year. Fireworks are the sign of happiness, celebration and news of wealth.  In Chinese culture they symbolize -Good Luck.
