Magnolia Time in Louisiana

Charlie & I had our morning walk and I noticed our Magnolia Tree  is starting to bloom. You know you are in the South when you see these majestic trees in bloom & the smell of the flowers are amazing. But the  flowers only last a few days before they brown & wilt.

And life April that brought us showers in South Louisiana – May is bringing us sunshine & Magnolias. And also some changes to the website as I get ready to celebrate the May blog tour.  Stay tun for all the updates.  Lisa

Did you know :  Magnolias symbolized dignity and nobility. In ancient China, magnolias were thought to be the perfect symbols of womanly beauty and gentleness. In the American South, white magnolias are commonly seen in bridal bouquets because the flowers are thought to reflect and emphasize the bride’s purity and nobility. They are also the state Flower for Louisiana & Mississippi
