Make a Cook Book :

  • Front Cover/  Bake Cover  ( Make yourself or Free software )
  • Collect Friday Recipes  ( Copy / Print)
  • Bind together with ribbon or binder clip.

My Cook Book starts with Drinks :

  • 1 1/2 quart of milk
  • 1/2 C Sugar
  • 2 T corn starch
  • 3 Eggs  separated
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 2 T sugar for egg whites
  • Nutmeg and pinch of Salt

Scald milk and remove from heat. Blend corn starch and sugar. Seperate Eggs – beat yolks and add to sugar mixture. Add a small amount of milk (to temper) and slowly Mix together. Heat until Thicken – let Cool. Add vanilla .

Beat Egg whites with sugar and salt until fluffy. Fold into Milk mixture and top with Nutmeg .

Yes -you can add liqueur : whiskey and rum is two of the classic add on and will actually make the Egg Nog last longer.  Lisa
