Yesterday was my husbands birthday. And In our family it means road trip to find the perfect tree. In Michigan where we lived for many years it was a trip to the tree farm to pick out the perfect tree. We even had a favorite tree farm we got our tree from every year since our son was born. The trees grew with him on the farm.
Now living in Louisiana it’s to our local Lowe’s for a tree. Not as much as fun but we love keeping the tradition alive. This year with my son in college it was just Tom and I doing the shopping, But while shopping we got a message ( pictures) from my son he was at a Christmas parade Another thing we always did to welcome in the Christmas season. when he was small. So we are keeping the family tradition alive in our own way. It’s important to us to have traditions that can be passed on – thats why I love to scrapbook and showcase pictures from past to present. Enjoy my pictures of our Tree Shopping Road Trip. Lisa
