St Patrick Day : Rainbow in the clouds

It’s St Patrick Day and this Sunday bible verse and journaling is all about Rainbow : They are many things to many people but to the Irish the bring luck and good fortune. To us as Christians they symbolize a convent with God and a light in the mist of darkness . Today’s message is from :

Genesis 9:13 New International Version (NIV)

13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

My rainbow is done in a simple watercolor technique. Where I first wet the page and painted the rainbow framing the verse. Then I add the blue sky and Clouds and green grass.

Rainbow and God:

God has already assigned meaning to this atmospheric beauty. In Scripture, the presence of a rainbow was a message from God; in fact, God says it is “my bow” (Genesis 9:13)—it belongs to Him. and a convent between

God and Noah to never flood the Earth again.
He told Noah that, every time he saw a rainbow, he could know that God had established a covenant with “all flesh that is on the earth

To the Irish:

Rainbows can motivate us to continue and endure through dark times. Another way that rainbows provide us with hope and motivation is by being a symbol for good luckRainbows are often thought to bring good fortune. In Irish mythology, they are even thought to be the hiding place for pots of gold.
