Peach Blossom Tea

Today is National Peach Blossom Day ! Let’s celebrate with a cup of tea :

Peach Blossom tea is a traditional Korean tea made from the dried peach flowers.It is believed that dohwa-cha helps treating constipation and calculus.

Tasting notes: A deliciously fruity blend of white tea and peach with smooth vanilla notes.

Peach blossom tea, just as its name implies, is the peach blossom to brew with water to drink. selecting the buds in the peach blossom, each of it is very tender. The measure of brewing is very easy. Its tea water present golden color, sending out fresh smell. A cup of peach blossom tea, enjoy a colorful day. In this romantic season along with you, what is the most want is to see your smiling face. Peach blossom tea also has the function of detoxification, bowel, keeping beauty, raising color and so on, every day drink a bit, more healthy a little. Peach blossom also has effects on invigorating stomach, eliminating the impaction of rumen, promoting the circulation of water and blood, purgation, detoxification, inflammation.

Make a cup :

  • Peach blossom loose tea ( 1 oz makes 5 cups)
  • filtered water
  • teapot with infusers
  • something to heat water in . (tea kettle )

Brew Instructions: 1 ounce brews 15 cups

  • Amt: 2 tsp
  • Water: 8 oz
  • Temperature: 185 degrees
  • Time: 3-5 minutes

Follow the steep time recommendations on the tea package, but roughly it is: black tea for 4-5 minutes, green and oolong for 3 minutes, and white tea for 4 minutes.

Peach Blossom takes : 5-6 minutes to seep .

Once the time is up, your tea is ready to drink. Don’t leave the tea leaves sitting in water since that just makes the tea way too strong and bitter.
