A Wife of Noble Character

It’s Sunday morning and all is quite here. Just me and the pet ( 1 dog) and (3 cats) having morning coffee. Today I am sharing one of my Mom favorite verses : I remember her embroidery this verse on pillows and keepsakes for new brides.

Proverb 31 verse 10 : Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precarious than rubies. Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life.

This is done in a floral pattern of stickers on the side.

The purpose of Proverbs 31 was instructional. It was written a poem so that it would be easy to remember and it was intended to guide a king’s choice in choosing a godly helpmeet. So teach it to your sons, Mama. Encourage them to pursue a godly woman who is virtuous.

Some might say this verse does not apply to modern women but it does. She not only a house wife but the manager of the home – a business owner ( she inspect the land, buys it and plant a vineyard) She helps the poor and weaves her own bedspread and her children stands and bless her. A women that can do it all. My Mom was a great homemaker, volunteered in our area and managed a fabric store to help with our family finances a very virtuous women. indeed. And a roll model for me and many other women in our family….. Lisa

Modern Proverbs 31 Woman goes about her tasks eagerly, willingly, thoroughly. She’s industrious and responsible for her task. She sees the purpose behind it (which in her case is taking care of her family), and doesn’t let complaining or laziness win
