Today would have been my Dad’s 94th birthday if he was still with us on Earth. And today he’s in our thoughts.
Dad’s fig tree
Every time I look out and see our family Fig tree I think of Dad and the coming summer time when figs are ripe.
Luke 21:29-31 29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.
Dad Church
Dad every year would pick figs, clean , cook and make fig preserve for family and church friends. So today at church we remember him . While enjoying some fig cake made with Dad preserve. Happy Birthday Daddy!

Great Dads where born in March and loved fig trees. Our figs will not be ready till July but I still have some preserve from last year

What great memories you have of your dad. My mom would have been 95 this year and she will always be in my memories.
