We have always had pets in our house .And we love them like family members. Blue is our latest Resuce dog we adopted from a local shelter. Hes a mixed Blue Heeler and named after my sons favorite show while growing up : Blues Clue !
Today I am sharing Blues treat recipe i made this week with what i had on hand. Lisa .
1 C flour
1 1/2C oatmeal
1/2 C applesauce
8 oz peanut butter
1 egg
2 sweet potatoes ( I first cooked in microwave and scraped inside out)
Mix together and adjust as needed . Then I dropped by spoonful on parchment paper and Bake at 350 until done.
Tips :
You can use pumpkin for flavor instead of sweet potatoes.
This is a basic easy recipe. You can use whole wheat flour or more oatmeal. Also instead of applesauce you can use oil and add a little water if you need it.
This can be rolled out and cut with cookie cutters roo.
