Red Stick Farmers Market:

During peak seasons, we operate up to 4 weekly locations of the Red Stick Farmers Market in different areas of the city. Red Sick Farmers Market has over 50 member farmers with a variety of locally grown products including fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, seafood, artisan breads, homemade pies, honey, milk and cheese, native plants, herbs, and specialty food items. The Markets provide vital economic opportunities for local farmers, keeping our local food system healthy, strong and vibrant.

Saturdays 8 a.m.-noon 

Main Street Market at Fifth and Main streets Downtown, 501 Main Street

Red Stick Farmers is an open-air, producer-only market, which ensures that all produce sold at the market is grown locally by independent local farmers, fishers and food producers.

Princess Day at The Crowne Plaza

Join the princesses for stories, dances, vocal performances, games, crafts and more! Enjoy creating memories as you meet each princess in attendance. Each guest will have the opportunity to take photos, share hugs, and get to know their favorite fairytale friend. Our events are structured to include group activities and individual interaction with the characters in attendance.

Kids Makers Market at Mid-City Artisans

Support young makers and artists at the Kids Makers Market, where over 30 kids will be selling everything from baked goods, dog treats, jewelry, woodworking and much more!

KICKING OFF FOOTBALL SEASON

We’re kicking off football season the best way we know how – with a showdown between both of our hometown teams, the LSU Tigers and the Southern University Jaguars! Get your tickets while you can and join us for the excitement – kick-off is on Sept. 10, at 6:30 p.m., in Tiger Stadium.
