All American Classic : Frank and Beans

  • 16 oz baked beans
  • ▢½ cup ketchup
  • ▢¼ cup light brown sugar
  • ▢2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ▢1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ▢1 teaspoon dry mustard powder
  • ▢½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ▢¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ▢4 hot dogs (sliced into small pieces)

In a large saucepan, combine the baked beans, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.

  • Cook the sauce over medium heat until it starts to simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the sliced hot dogs to the saucepan, making sure they are submerged in the sauce.
  • Reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan with a lid. Cook the franks and beans for about 10-15 minutes, or until the hot dogs are heated through and the sauce has thickened.
  • Scoop into bowls and serve immediately.
