I know that time for making gifts is almost here but today’s gift is quick and easy and sun to make with the kids. These simple fabric projects can be used at any time or any holidays -so if you dont make it for Christmas -Valentines around the corner.

Fabric Markers Crafts:

Fabric Markers

Pillowcase project:

Using fabric markers, draw on the side of the pillowcase that is backed with freezer paper. When you are finished drawing, peel the freezer paper off of the pillowcase. Follow fabric marker directions for setting the drawings. Our markers instructed us to wait 24 hours before washing.

Fabric bags and pouches:

You can find these in white or muslin in most bog stores. Paint and set.

Quilt blocks

Setting fabric markers:

How do you set fabric markers? There are two ways to heat set fabric marker colors. Ask an adult to heat set them by placing your shirt in a clothes dryer set on the hottest setting for 30 minutes, or ask an adult to set an iron on cotton. Cover an ironing board with newspaper and a layer of white paper. A fabric marker contains permanent color (dye, paint or ink) that is designed to not wash out of clothing or fade with washing.

Thanks for stopping bye and tomorrow I will have more quick gifts to make.. Lisa
