In book 2 Colbie’s cat food business has taken off and one of her employees is accused of murder. Since she helped solve an earlier murder shes ask to help with this one. And that she does with an exciting showdown. Everything is looking up for Colbie and her family in this newest book. Looking forward to the next book. Lisa
Homemade Cat Food recipes:
- 1 can salmon
- 1 tablespoon cooked broccoli, mashed
- 1/4 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon brewer’s yeast
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- Stir together and serve.
- Keep any leftovers refrigerated, and discard after three days.
Many cats will choose chicken over other meats. This recipe is simple, and cats love it!
Ingredients
- 1 cup of cooked chicken (broiled or baked)
- 1/4 cup of steamed broccoli, mashed
- 1/4 cup of steamed carrots, mashed
- Chicken broth
Directions
- Place ingredients in a food processor with several tablespoons of chicken broth.
- Puree or crumble the ingredients until it begins to resemble paté cat food. Add broth, as needed, to make the mixture smooth, but not soupy.
- Let the food cool to room temperature before serving.
