Happy Saturday from cold Louisiana. Its your typical January here- one day warm -next day raining & next day cold. Never know when I go to walk Charlie what will be out the front door. So I am trying to warm up & enjoying my morning coffee as I write this post
What will today bring – some chores to get done and some planing for next week for my post. That means answering some emails & working on some projects -and if I have time I am sure there a book calling my name. Where ever your day bring are stay warm & safe – Lisa
Looking for a Parade to attend- they are being held all over the state. Not only in big city but most towns have community ones. I recommend if you are in the area come explore .

Krewe of Sobek Parade will be held at Louisiana Fairgrounds Field in Shreveport on Saturday January 13 at 1 p.m. Admission is free.
This year’s parade theme is Sports Mania. The parade route starts at Fairgrounds Field. The floats will exit onto Greenwood Road headed west; make a right turn, head north on Mertis Street, turn right, head east on Lakeshore Drive, and then head south on Missouri Street back to the Fairgrounds.
