Thursday DIY Craft time…

Lisa Everyday Crafts

  • 1/2 Cup Coconut oil
  • 2 Tablespoon Zinc Oxide
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Raspberry Seed Oil (amazon)

Heat up the oil until liquids and add in the other ingredients.

Coconut oil has an spf of 5, so it offers a small amount of protection but isn’t a substitute for sunscreen.

Raspberry seed oil: Absorbs UVB and UVC sun rays. Soothes inflamed skin and encourages healthy skin cell regeneration.

Zinc Oxide: Powerful UV filter that’s proven to scatter or reflect UV rays. Zinc Oxide is one of the few minerals recommended by the EWG as a safe and effective ingredient in sunscreens.

This is a good basic Sunscreen , but depending on needs you may need more help.

Sun Burn help:

  • 8 drops lavender
  • 8 drop chamomile
  • 1/4 C food grade aloe vera gel

In a jar mix aloe vera and essential oil . And use on Sunburn area.
