BBQ vs Grilling

What’s the difference between BBQ  and Grilling ?

When you BBQ – Low and Slow . With lid down.

Grilling ? is what you do at the park – lid up and on direct heat (hamburgers and hot dogs)

Today’s Thursday Food Post we will do both – Tom’s – St. Louis Ribs-

 

St. Louis ribs a family favorite is -larger and meatier. Found near the bottom ribs /near the belly.

Peperations-

Trim and clean. Remove the silver skin.


Marinade with Worchester sauce and cajun seasoning ( at least 30 min)

On the hot Grill sear and smoke for 30 minutes


Then into a pan with seasoning and a can of beer ( you can use apple juice) covered and placed on indirect heat for  (1 hour 1/2)


Pull the ribs out and place on direct heat . To add some grill marks . You can add BBQ sauce at this time.


The meat will fall off of the ribs – So enjoy!    Lisa
