This Thursday I am setting the table with homemade items on my table. So read on to make your table special.

Place card holder

You can send out cards for guest to sign and return. Are make these cute little place card holder turkeys out of pinecones.

Napkin rings:

This simple ring is made from Dollar store wire -wrapped around a paper towel empty roll. If you want to get fancy add leaves or flowers from the dollar store Thanksgiving floral selection.

Burlap applique Thanksgiving Table runner:

• 2 yards burlap
• 1/4 yard of 3 to 4 fall-colored cotton fabric scraps
• 1 yard double-sided fusible web product, such as Heat ‘n Bond Lite or WonderUnder. {these can be bought by the yard at fabric and hobby stores}
• thread
• scissors
• iron/ironing Board

Cut the burlap into a 16″ x 65″ (longer or shorter depending on your table length. Print leaves and then cut them out. Trace leaves onto the waxy paper side of the fusible web paper. leaves and then cut them out. Trace leaves onto the waxy paper side of the fusible web paper. With a hot, dry iron, fuse the leaves, fusible web side down, to the back of fabrics. Iron on the leaves in a random pattern and then sew around the edges.
