Glass Plates can be purchased at Dollar Store,Amazon or Wal mart.

Using a Sharpie Marker to make your Christmas plate :

Clean the plate with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel.

Kids can draw your design on the cleaned plate with a pencil. You can draw freehand, make a stencil or use a purchased stencil for your design. Keep it simple is best.

Color your design with permanent markers or oil-based paint pens. Designs made with paint pens will last longer.

Put the plates in the oven and set the temperature to 350 degrees. Let the oven heat to the set temperature before putting the plates in the oven. Turn the oven off after 30 minutes and let the plates cool inside the oven. Carefully remove the plates using a hot pad if they haven’t cooled completely.
