I lift up my eyes to the hills– where does my help come from?

Sunday Bible journaling

Psalm 121 1-4

I lift up my eyes to the hills– where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

Message :

This song of Pilgrim is also the song of help. This psalm teaches us,. To stay ourselves upon God as a God of power and a God all-sufficient for us in all things. But it is also a prayer for caregivers-that even in the hardest time we can lift up our eyes to God to receive help.

I am the caretaker for my elderly parents and with daily challenges this sometimes can become hectic . But I know that I can look up and get help as I go through my daily battle. Not like David or the battles of old but to me just as important battle of life of ones I love….. Lisa
