International Bacon Day

I am celebrating this special day at the market with bacon treats at a specialty meat shop we found at the market. Its local and family own.

We always pick up there bacon, apple butter with bacon and more :

Glazed Bacon

12 oz of sliced bacon

1/2 c packed brown sugar

2 Tablespoon dry red wine

1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard

Place sliced bacon on a pan and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Drain after cooking and place back on cooking sheet.

Combine ingredients and brush bacon bake 10 minutes and turn brush with the rest of the mixture and bake until crisp. Lisa
