Celebrating * Dictionary Day

Today is National Dictionary Day –  This Monday we Celebrate !

Dictionary Day is in honor of Noah Webster, considered the Father of the American Dictionary. Noah Webster was born on October 16, 1758. The objective of this day is to emphasize the importance of dictionary skills, and seeks to improve vocabulary.

  • Illustrations on the pages  -no ads
  • Looking around the book and finding something new

 

As a Mom that school at home I had to go look  for ours. It’s so easy now to just – Goggle or Bing it ! My son does it all the time. Need a word,definition or spelling? Type it in. But today we are going old school and looking it up. And maybe we will learn some new words. Join me in Celebrating *  Dictionary Day!

My Project Life post  * Happy

I just decided to start doing some project life pages and posting them on my Monday morning post. This is the definition of Happy for my son. Raking Fall leaves and then jumping & playing in them.  Using some items from Simple Stories kits and other items. Lisa
