Saturday : Dim Sum is served

Saturday Morning & Day 2 in our Chinese New Year Celebration & my thought go to Dim Sum.

A traditional dim sum brunch includes various types of steamed buns such as cha siu bao (a steamed bun filled with barbecue pork), dumplings and rice noodle rolls, which contain a range of ingredients, including beef, chicken, pork, prawns, and vegetarian options.

Basic Dim Sum Etiquette if eating out!

So you can’t get to a restaurant or have no family to make it ( yes hubby family makes it homemade) -What’s a South Louisiana Girl to Do ?   I buy It frozen from the Asian Market so I always have it on hand ,  All you need is a bamboo steamer & you are ready to go. 

Cha siu bao – these are filled with BBQ pork. My absolute favorite. Lisa
