Come spend the day and have fun ! Wear your walking shoes and explore all that Louisiana has, Don’t miss the Antique Car show and the annual Softball /baseball games that are part of the festival. Lisa
Food Village :
Restaurants, organizations, and individuals selling a delicious variety of cuisine! Features a wide variety of Louisiana cuisine, ranging from backbone stew to poboys, cracklins and boudin to gumbo.
LeDoux Library on campus : Will feature local authors:
Set in the coastal waters, Three Little Shrimp tells of childhood wonder amidst a backdrop of lurking danger. The story follows the shrimp as they pursue their curiosity and swim from one adventure to another.
Film Village : Showcasing local film makes and media artist.
Folk Life Village :
will feature traditional Louisiana crafts and trades. Festival guests will have the opportunity to speak with the exhibitor/demonstrator and learn firsthand about the craft.
Artist Village :
Hosted by the local artists and features the work of Louisiana artists from a wide variety of genres and mediums – including folk art, classical art, pottery, glass, photography, and more. Artist Village will also have many activities for children throughout the weekend.
Walk Through Louisiana :
The walk-through is a unique and exciting element of the festival. This area affords communities, parishes, tourist centers, festivals, and regional entities the ability to showcase themselves in whatever manner they choose.
Music Village – on center stag :
Features great Louisiana musical talent. Eunice’s own Todd Ortego serves as emcee on stage.
