Today’s Bible journaling as we leave September
Leviticus 26:3-4
‘If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.
Bible thoughts:
If ye walk in my statutes, — In reward of their obedience, God promises them temporal prosperity in every instance that could render a nation happy. And, first, he assures them they should have fruitful seasons, here expressed by giving them rain in due time — Because, in Canaan and Syria, they were wont to have hardly any rain but at two stated seasons; in the end of autumn, at seed-time; and in spring, before harvest; termed the former and latter rain
I used one of my favorite stamp from Unity as my image.
The best stamping ink type for Bible journaling is one that does double duty, both as a watercolor and as a stamping medium. I place a sheet of plastic or scrap card stock behind the page and stamp lightly with black ink. Then I lightly colored with colored pens with a water color background.
