Homecoming 2019: Embrace the Culture

Homecoming Week is the epitome of University of Louisiana at Lafayette pride! Celebrating the sheer awesomeness of UL Lafayette and bringing alumni back to reminisce on the great times they shared is a huge part of Homecoming Week. The University Program Council presents a week of events that inspire students to love their University more and more each day. 

Saturday Homecoming parade: 10 am

Saturday Schedule :

1 p.m.
Tailgating at Cajun Field | Your chance to get pumped for the game. Alumni tailgating tent is set up outside Russo Park. Student tailgating is on the southeast end of Cajun Field.

1:30 p.m.
Cajun Walk down Reinhardt Drive | Bring your ragin’ spirit and wish the team good luck before the big game.

2:30 p.m.
Cajun Field gates open | Stop by the Ragin’ Cajuns apparel outlet inside Cajun Field before heading to your seat.

3 p.m.
Band begins Ragin’ March along Stadium Way | Join the Pride of Acadiana Marching Band in the fight song and the classic “R-E-S-P-E-C-T.”

3 p.m.
The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football team begins on-field warm-ups.

3:45 p.m.
Pride of Acadiana Marching Band’s pregame performance | Arrive early, wear red, get LOUD, and stay late!

Saturday 4pm Game :

Texas State stuck close for a while, but UL dominated defensively and pulled away late in the half and early in the second to win 31-3 on homecoming at Cajun Field.
