TRUSTING GOD IN THE DARK BIBLE READING PLAN & PRAYER JOURNAL

New Living Translation
Who among you fears the LORD and obeys his servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the LORD and rely on your God.

Bible journal

My thoughts :

Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant: Now the Messiah speaks to His people and challenges them to fear the LORD and obey His Servant – the Messiah Himself.

i. “Only he who knows how to obey can call others to obedience.”

b. Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely upon his God: The Messiah guides His people into the path of light. Simply, trust in the name of the LORD and rely upon your God. It isn’t necessarily easy, but it certainly is simple!

Light definition:

Light is a source of illumination, whether a natural one (like the sun) or an artificial one (like your lamp). Like light itself, the word can take a lot of different forms — it can be a noun, an adjective, or a verb, and it can mean “bright” or “not heavy”.

So this week we all need to be the Light to someone. Shine bright with hope , love and trust in the Lord. ….. Lisa
