Happy Birthday ! Sesame Street

This Saturday at the Library we are celebrating Sesame Streets birthday . So join me for a fun filled day with Books,Cookies and crafts !

Elmo celebrates his birthday with his Sesame Street friends by playing games, eating cupcakes, and opening presents. Girls and boys ages 3 to 7 will love this paperback storybook that includes over 50 stickers, a Pin-the-Nose-on-Elmo game, and a press-out birthday crown!

Celebrate Thanksgiving together on Sesame Street with this Little Golden Book starring Elmo and his family and friends—including Oscar, Abby, Cookie Monster, and Julia!

Elmo and his parents have invited all their friends over for a special Thanksgiving meal. But the party was supposed to be outside, and it’s raining! Elmo is disappointed until he takes a walk around Sesame Street and learns from friends including Oscar, Abby Cadabby, Bert, and Ernie that there are so many things to be thankful for—including rain! Children ages 2 to 5 will be thankful for this sweet new Little Golden Book. It’s the perfect read-aloud to share on Thanksgiving, or any day you want to feel thankful!

Kids Crafts

Empty plasic ornaments
red and blue bag filler (cut tissue paper)
Eyes and mouth cut from Circuit or stickers
Take top off of plastic ornament and fill with papper, add face stickers.

Handprints:

Construction paper
scissors
glue sticks
pencil

Let the kids trace there hands on construction paper. Cut out and add finishing touches for each character.
