Today, my post is all about fabric bookmarks. The perfect way to use up your fabric stash and make a great gift

2.5 x 7.5 fabric (2)

Fusible web

Ribbon

Cut two fabric scraps into 2.5 x7.5 strip. Lay ribbon and web fusing inside and fuse with iron. Then stitch around the outside of the bookmark.

Fabric corner bookmarks

Fabric scraps : 4 x4 inch

Lightweights fusible web

Basic sewing supplies and machine ,iron

I like to make these for gifts. Cut (3) 4 inch square of fabric.

You will be making a sandwich between the layer of fabrics square and fusible web in the middle.

Then your last square iron on the fusabale web on the wrong side and fold over in half triangle. Press. This will make your pocket.

Take to your machine . Place like template and sew around the edge with a straight stitch.

Felt heart Bookmarks

You will need

Felt scraps

Embroidery floss / needle

Narrow elastic

Cut out heart design in felt. And cut elastic to size needed . By measuring around the book and adding an 1.5 inches.

Take elastic and fold in half and meets ends in the middle of the bottom felt heart . Use a drop of glue to stabilize. Place the other felt heart on top,glue, and then stitch around the heart, catching eleastic. Then, decorate the top heart with embroidery.
