Today’s post is all about Hostess gifts: Some idea’s you can make yourself:

• Bouquet of flowers in a vase.
• Boxed candies.
• Potted plant.
• Bottles of wine.
• Tin of cookies.
• Decorator candles.
• Guest soaps.
• Flavored vinegars.

Homemade candy or cookies

Plant in a cup :

Take a large cup and fill with cactus soil and small stones. Fill with small cactus plants. And accessories. You can personalize with a sharpie.

Grab a great bottle of wine to share and make fun tags for your glasses. Made with charms, beads, and wire holders.

A basket of Seasonal bath & body products:

I grabbed a container from the Dollar store and filled it with homemade bath and beauty products. You can match the holiday or your hostess likes. Check my blog for recipes.

Cranberry Vinegar :

• 3/4 cup white vinegar
• 3/4 cup water
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 1 package (12 ounces) fresh or frozen cranberries

In a saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until the cranberries burst. Cool. Strain through a fine sieve into sterilized bottles or jars. Seal tightly. Discard cranberries and cinnamon stick. Chill until ready to use in your vinegar-and-oil salad dressing.
