Crockpot Dog food

Is your dog a picky eater – has allergies or you just wanted to try It?

Well yes I do-and it’s a great way to clean out the freezer and use leftover.

In my crockpot I layered rice ,water to cook, some frozen vegtables, and some deer meat.Set on low for 6 hours to cook.Nothing that most wouldn’t eat themselves. You can switch out with what you have. Great recipes out there on the web and Pinterest.

Please check with your vet on dietary needs for your pet .

I mixed mine with generic dog food for bulk . Or you feed your dog this instead of regular dog food. The choice is yours.

A Gold Star wife alone…

Ellie Meeks promised her pilot husband that if he was killed in combat, she would live her life to the fullest. Three years later, she is still alone, raising the twins he never met. She has no interest in dating or meeting men—until one snowy night when a stranger helps her get her sick kids safely home. That stranger turns out to be a former Army Ranger and a member of the elite Rocky Mountain Search & Rescue Team. He’s also tall, rugged… and irresistibly sexy.

All it takes is one kiss…

Jesse Moretti came to Colorado to get Iraq out of his head, using the adrenaline of extreme sports and high-risk mountain rescues to keep his mind off the past. But getting involved with Ellie might be the riskiest thing he’s ever done. It’s not just their explosive chemistry. There’s something about Ellie that gets inside him, opening him to feelings he’s tried hard to ignore.

When passion ignites…

Ellie feels alive in Jesse’s arms and happier than she ever thought she’d feel again. But their relationship comes at a price for him, and soon Ellie sees that she must help Jesse fight the demons of his past to protect the love of a lifetime—and save the heart of a hero.

This is book 3 in this series but I read it as a stand alone book. I had no problems following the story line. Ellie is raising twins alone after her husband died while flying Blackhawks . She’s a nurse ,daughter and a great Mom but havent moved on since her husbands death. But when she meets Jesse an Ex Ranger with his own problem life changes. A great book of overcoming loss and finding something new to love. A perfect book with a great story and a happy ending. Now I need to go back and read the other books.   Lisa

Seamus O’Leary was abducted from his home in Australia and imprisoned for months in the Pacific Northwest. He arrived in Grizzly Cove with his spirit broken from being forced to stay in his animal form for months. Human again, and unable to shift without the crutch of alcohol, he is trying his best just to get through each day…until a chance meeting changes his life forever.

Moira Kinkaid came to Grizzly Cove with a dual purpose. First, she is supposed to give the bear shifters who live there all the information her powerful Clan has collected about the sea monster known as the leviathan. Second, she’s checking the place out for her cousin, the Kinkaid Alpha. If the place is as promising as it looks, some of the Kinkaid billions might be invested in the up-and-coming town. But, when Moira stumbles across a handsome, drunken man on the beach, suddenly her mission changes to something much more personal.

Drawn to each other, the two very different shifters share a highly magical Irish ancestry—and a passion unlike anything either has ever known. From the moment they meet, they are nearly inseparable. Something about their relationship seems almost inevitable, but they are both hiding things. Moira is a covert business operative and Seamus fears his inner animal is broken forever. Can these two find middle ground and healing in the safe harbor of Grizzly Cove?

“Stryker”
I’m a drifter.
A man born to ride through this world alone.
There used to be a time when I thought I was the rescuing type. I enlisted in the Marines and made it my duty—I was going to save lives.
I was going to be a true American hero.
But God had another plan.
Or maybe Satan did.
For everything I touch finds mortality.
I’m no hero.
I’m nothing.
I’m a veteran biker, a former nomad who survived war only to live in hell.
Now I ride with the Satan’s Knights of Brooklyn and I’m drifting into a different kind of chaos.
The kind that revolves around a pretty girl with intoxicating green eyes.
A girl who has the power to turn me inside out.
A girl who doesn’t need anyone to rescue her because she’s her own savior.
Until she’s not.
But a man plagued by war and the devil inside him can never be her hero.

Gina Spinelli

Strong. Independent. Fierce.
They are the three things I strived to be.
But sometimes being successful can be lonely.
Sometimes a girl just wants to be a girl and have someone take care of her.
Maybe even love her.
Sometimes the strong become vulnerable.
Or worse, the victor becomes the victim.
Sometimes we lose control or in my case it’s stripped from you.
Defeated. Broken. Haunted.
They are the three things I have become.
In my darkest hour I admit defeat.
In my darkest hour I need one person.
I need him.
Stryker.

John Folse Store

Chef John Folse’s cookbook “Can You Dig It: Louisiana’s Authoritative Collection of Vegetable Cookery,” is an ode to vegetables and Louisiana’s love affair with gardening. Readers can expect to find chapters on the swamp floor pantry, root vegetables, leafy greens, off the vine, grains, exotics and more. Recipes focus on vegetables as the primary ingredient in appetizers, soups, salads, sides, entrées, breads, desserts and even drinks. While some veggies are delicious straight from the ground, Folse took great care to include an array of cooking methods for each vegetable included, all bringing out different flavors and textures. “Historically, vegetables have been the unsung heroes of the food world,” Folse said. “In ‘Can You Dig It’ vegetables are elevated to culinary masterpieces worthy of center-of-the-plate prestige. We’ve given the phrase ‘eat your vegetables’ a whole new taste!” “Can You Dig It” is nearly 950 pages in length with more than 600 vegetable-focused recipes. The cookbook begins with a look to the past by co-author Michaela York. The history of agriculture is told from ancient man and biblical perspectives; there are discussions of farming in antiquity including Egypt, Greece and Rome; gardens of the Middle Ages and Renaissance are explored; as well as the discovery of America and vegetables’ influence on population and power through the Columbian Exchange. The history section culminates in an overview of Louisiana’s deep roots in agriculture, with particular focus on the farming methods of the seven nations that make up Louisiana culture and cuisine.
