A white wedding is a traditional formal or semi-formal wedding originating in Britain. The term originates from the white colour of the wedding dress, which first became popular with Victorian era elites after Queen Victoria wore a white lace dress at her wedding.

Colors have different meanings and a blue wedding gown suggests femininity and purity, plus it symbolize stability, security and lifelong loyalty. White: White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection.
