Yesterday was scarf day ! Perfect time to make some for up coming Holidays. So I have 2 with polar Fleece and One with crochet .
This uses 1 piece of fabric and basic sewing .
- 1 yard of fleece
Cut the salvages of of fabric, Place the two pieces on top of each other with the right sides facing together. Now, it is time to cut your scarf. Cut a 13 by 60-inch piece out of the fleece. This is the ideal measurement for a scarf.Pin along both sides to prepare the fabric for sewing. You can now start sewing the fabric together using a zigzag stitch-Cut the fringes- You can than knot them together
Buy 1/4 yard of fabric :
Measure out fabric & Cut your scarf to size . Lay on top of each other and then : cut fringe the length you want and knot together .
- 8 or 9 inches (21 to 23 cm) is a standard width for a scarf. 60 inches (152.4 cm) is a standard length for a scarf. 40 inches (102 cm) long would work better for a child.
Blanker : For my hubby I buy :
2 1 1/2 yards of coordinating polar fleece.
Cut salvage off. On put one on Top of the Other . ( I use the bed). And Cut fringes around the edges. I free hand but you can measure. Knot together this fabric together. Lisa
