Monday recipe: Fried Catfish

Experience Creole culture at the Holy Ghost Creole Festival Bazaar in Opelousas, Louisiana. Every year, the festival kicks off with Friday night gospel featuring several choir groups from Holy Ghost Catholic Church. That night, enjoy some of Holy Ghost’s finger-lickin’ fried catfish dinners and southern gospel hymns.

  1. Love fried catfish. I do not have a deep fryer, so will have to buy mine out and about, but this looks yummy.

    1. Wal mart has a small basket fryer for about $20 – but you can also fry in a cast iron skillet if just do a few pieces.
