Lighting of the Nativity and Courthouse Square :
This Saturday evening we started the holiday season with a visit to downtown Opealousa as the Courthouse had a makeover. The old courthouse oaks are decorated with light as we Welcome the holiday season with music,vendors and Santa. So enjoy the holiday lights with my family- Its starting to feel like Christmas. Lisa
Lighting of the Nativity and Courthouse Square is a free and family oriented event on Saturday, November 24, 2018, from 3:30 to 6:30 pm at the St. Landry Parish Courthouse in Opelousas. Festivities include Santa and Sleigh, Petting Zoo, Our Lady Queen of Angels Church Choir, Storytelling, Caroling, Refreshments, Vendors and Artists.
