Today is Thursday @ Lisa * Everyday Life. And the #4 in our Count down to Halloween. I am posting about today about – Trick or Treating. Leading up to our Party Tomorrow.
Our family tradition is that we all gather at my Mom’s house -for dinner & fun. While my son gives out the candy. She loves to see everyone dressed up but not able to get to the door & give out candy. So we make it a family affair . Lisa
On the Menu this Night !
Tom Chili with Mom’s Corn bread
21/2 lb ground meat
Chopped (onion,bell pepper & celery)
1 Can Rotel tomatoes
Tasso ( Cajun pork sausage) chopped fine
1 Package – Carrol Shelby Chile kit
In a pot brown meat -drain fat as kit suggest. Add kit Content- can of Tomatoes but instead of 2 cans of water Add Bear – and the rest of ingredients. Let simmer about 2 hours.
