I have some new followers & I thought i would talk about my spot on the map & you can tell me your spot on the map below-
Melville is a town in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 1,376 at the 2000. It was founded in 1889 and is known as the Atchafalaya River Catfish Capital of Louisiana.( only in its dream). No stop lights or gas station but a great hometown grocery & hardware /feed store. 6 churches & funeral home – no school but a part time library – and 1 cop. We live surrounded by a ring levee to keep flood water back from the Mississippi & Atchafalaya. . We are about an our from Lafayette & Baton Rouge (state capital) . I live in my grandmothers house that is about 100 years old on a street not listed by UPS -but he finds me if need be. So that me –

its a small world -loved Michigan. My hubby from Toledo,Ohio but I am from Louisiana. Moved home to take care of elderly parents -so we are back for awhile,

We are originally from NY. Moved here for a job. Love it! Don’t want to retire here but a great place to raise the kids.
