My Quilt Journey * Holiday gifts

My quilt journey started with a quilt for my grandmother a long time quilter ( made from a kit)  Which inspired this card later : ( No Sewing Needed)

This time of year I am doing mostly baby quilts and getting started on small  gifts I make for the holidays. My sister has a December birthday so I always make her  a little something. This year it will be a Pin Cushion ( sewing supplies) made  with Christmas scraps & a book

Upon her gran

dmother’s death, Izzy Fontaine finds herself in possession of a Wild Goose Chase pattern quilt that supposedly leads to a great treasure. Of course, once the rest of the family finds out about the “treasure map,” they’re determined to have a go at the treasure themselves. And, if that weren’t enough, Max Logan, a local museum curator, contacts Izzy and says that Grandma Isabella promised him the quilt. What is it about this quilt that makes everyone want it? Is Izzy on a wild goose chase of her own, or a journey that will lead her to the treasure her grandmother intended?

This week is perfect time to catch up on the quilt along. But if you are only interested in making a few :

  • Pillow ( 1 block /solid back)
  • 4 blocks – Wall hanger
  • 4 blocks – Table runner
