
Happy Columbus Day ! or Monday to everyone else-
We had a great weekend my son was home for a few days from college . He’s doing well and enjoying all of his classes. So we stayed home and Mom did wash and cooked his favorite food . Next Monday I have a road trip you want to miss . Lisa
Today I am sharing one of my sons favorite :
Pork Chops and Gravy
- 6 lean pork chops
- 2 T cooking oil
- 1 large slice Onion
- 1/4 chopped bell pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic chopped
- 1 can of beef broth
- 2 large T flour
Season chops -in a large hot skillet with oil brown pork shops on both sides remove. Add onion,garlic and bell pepper and saute till soft. Add flour and Mix. Add in beef broth -Stir until smooth. Add back pork chops and Cover. Simmer about 30 to 40 minutes .
We serve with rice but mash potatoes works too.
