Today’s recipe is in honor of a historical fact : Miss Kay Nutty Oatmeal cookies in honor of Emma Nutt Day -first Women telephone operatur.
2 sticks of butter / soften.
1 C brown sugar amd 1 C regular sugar
2 eggs
2 C AP Flour
2 C rolled Oats
1 tsp : vanialla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 C chocolate chips
1/2 C chopped pecan
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixer beat butter,sugar,vanialla,eggs,salt baking powder and soda until blended. Fold in Oats,nuts and chips. Whwn done drop by tablespoon on ungreased baking sheet .Bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
