Good Morning ! Did you know that June is the most popular month to get married ? Approximately 10.8% of couples get married in the month of June; the largest percentage. This is followed by August at 10.2%, May at 9.8% and July at 9.7%.
The goddess Juno (for whom June is named) was the protector of women in all aspects of life, but especially in marriage and childbearing, so a wedding in Juno’s month was considered most auspicious.
Historical Fact: The reasons are many, starting with the most practical of all: If a bride married in June, she was more likely to give birth to her first child in early spring, giving her plenty of time to recover before the fall harvest.
Today’s Project: ATC cards
Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized “swap” events, either in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5″ x 3.5″.
These ATC are made from a base card stock pack from Hobby Lobby, And decorated with stickers,beads and flowers.
