Peace be with You

It’s Sunday morning -Thanks for joining me :

“Let There Be Peace On Earth and Let It Begin With Me”This hymn, 431 in the United Methodist Hymn, has always been one of my favorites. It brings tears to my eyes as I listen to the congregations sing. “Let It Begin with Me”.

One of my often used phrase is, “Pay attention to those in the three feet surrounding you, those you can reach out an touch. Be kind and be thoughtful.” But you exclaim-you just don’t know how they speak to me!. No I don’t. Maybe they are having a bad day. Maybe they know no difference. Maybe any number of things could be going on. Don’t compound their situation, soften their situation. Be kind.Believe it or not God has created each one of us and love each one of us. Believe in a better tomorrow. Go forward in love, hope, and prayer. The world can change when we each begin to do our part. To love. To feel.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, competing against one another, envying one another.

John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

This Sunday I leave you with : Peace be with you all ! Lisa
