Cajun Chicken Fricassee

It’s Lunch time in Washington and in many of the  Restraint and Cafe’s you will find this classic Cajun recipe on the menu: 

 

Chicken and Gravy

 

  • 1 chicken Cut op
  • 3 C water
  • 1 large onion /chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper/ chopped
  • 3 T of roux
  • salt,pepper,and red paper to taste

Boil water ,roux,and seasoning until roux is dissolved, Add chicken and Cook 45 minutes .Serve with Rice.        Washington,la
