Blog- Blogger ? or Blogging ?

My Tuesday ‘s Subject  *  What is a Blog ? Blogger ? Blogging?  What is it ? Why Do I do it? Read my story –  Lisa

I Goggled the term and this what came up –

A Blog is a frequently updated online personal journal or diary. It is a place to express yourself to the world. A place to share your thoughts and your passions. Really, it’s anything you want it to be.

A  Blogger – ( noun) Is the person who is writing the post.

Blogging is a verb. The actual writing process.

My story-

I started many years ago as a book blogger on a Free site with Blogger. It was a way to share book and get free books to read. A win for me and a big help to independent book publishing world. After a while I got bored with the site and felt like I was one of many and didn’t work very had on it. I stopped for a while and let go bare.

About 6 years ago we moved back to my childhood home in rural South Louisiana. A town of about 1000 people. With Life changing I started a new blog sharing my world. More of a dairy style ( that I write daily) and sharing it with the world. As my blog grew i branched off two of my Pages so people could find information better- Lisa Book Blog ( to support my book addiction) – and The Recipe Box ( we are foodie in this family ) for family recipes.

This blog is what I do for fun and I enjoy chatting with my followers. And finding other interesting Blogs to follow. So feel free to comment and leave me a message and your link.

That’s My story – What;s Yours?    Thanks for Reading and I will See you on the Web.   Lisa

  1. I’m glad you decided to get back to blogging!
I started a blog over a year ago because I wanted to build a platform for my books, but I never did anything with it. Then I made a New Year’s resolution to start blogging on a regular basis, and I’ve found it to be (while sometimes stressful) a wonderful way to discover different blogs and a great catharsis. Not to mention an excellent opportunity to practice my writing.

  2. I just started blogging and am trying to find my niche. I have recently found an old love, art. I love spending time drawing, photographing, painting and writing. I have a high stress job and these simple things are a great way for me to get out of my head. I actually think it is helping me understand myself a little more.

    1. I had a book blog for a long time but didn’t really write anything. Since I branched out and started this blog I write a bit every day. I use it as more of a personal journal of my life.A way to keep track of what’s going on. My niche changes over time -as I find my place.Best of luck & don’t bother with labels enjoy the process
