Rice Dressing or Dirty Rice ?

On Sunday we celebrated Mother’s Day with my Mom & Dad. My mother requested  my hubbies BBQ ribs  and she made the sides.

For Holidays the Question is always Corn Bread or Rice Dressing ? What’s the difference ?

Corn Bread dressing is made with Corn bread and Rice Dressing uses Rice as main ingredient.

And what is  the  difference  between Rice Dressing & the more famous Dirty Rice ?

The essential ingredients are few, but flavor and texture vary greatly. The main difference between dirty rice and rice dressing is that rice dressing is generally made with ground beef or pork, whereas dirty rice is made with pork and chicken livers.

  1. I really like Dirty Rice, but this Rice Dressing sounds delicious too….I think I’ll have to try it…my family loves Southern Food. Every time I cook Southern I think I could make double servings and freeze one part…..every time they eat everything, there is never anything left…..
